Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team working Part Time. The position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and facilities within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the overall presentation of the grounds and gardens and recreation facility

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any maintenance needs and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, lubricating machinery, and cleaning equipment

Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities as needed

Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance services

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards

Qualifications:

Proven experience in maintenance and repair

Experience in grounds maintenance

Ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Valid Driver's Licence
