Pinnacle Medical Imaging (SKR) – St Kilda Road is a comprehensive radiology practice offering: MRI, interventional radiology and cardiac CT scanning that requires the assistance of a practice nurse.

Malvern Breast Imaging – is a premium breast radiology service that provides interventional breast examinations that requires the assistance of a nurse to support in both procedures and patient case management.

We are seeking a nurse to work across both practices with a full-time capacity (part time in each practice). Hours and days in each location are negotiable.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include -

Meet and greet patients and apply nursing skills.

Assist radiologists with interventional procedures (sterile technique)

Manage pathology specimen collection and result management

Compassionately manage patients in need and assist practice workflow.

Resuscitation and emergency management of anaphylaxis events.

Stock ordering and clinical inventory management.

Assist technical teams (mammographers, sonographer) with patients who may require support.

Skills and experience

AHPRA registration (current) as either DIV 1 or DIV 2 nurse.

Experience in a medical practice is preferred but not essential

Experience in radiology, imaging, or procedural nursing environments would be advantageous

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

Recent resuscitation and advanced life support training (preferred).
