About the role
We are seeking 2 part-time Practice Nurses to join our friendly team in a job share arrangement at our Pakenham clinic.

One role is 18 hours per week (2 days)

The other is 17 hours per week (2 days)

Working days fall between Monday and Thursday (no Fridays required)

Each nurse will provide holiday and leave cover for the other

Additional shifts may occasionally be required to support our sister clinic in Malvern East

As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dermatologists and clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

Assisting during dermatological procedures, including biopsies and excisions

Providing expert wound care and post-procedure follow-up

Preparing patients for consultations and coordinating patient flow

Stock control, ordering, and equipment sterilisation

Preparing injectable treatments in line with clinical guidelines

Delivering patient education and support, including triage of new referrals

Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and infection control standards

Actively participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development

What we’re looking for

Registered Division 1 Nurse with experience in general medical or surgical nursing

Strong clinical skills and confidence working both independently and in a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Competency in electronic medical records and healthcare technology

Flexibility to provide cover at our Malvern East clinic when required

Commitment to ongoing professional development and high-quality patient care
