About the role
Our Head Office is located in Brisbane. Here, you'll support the financial heartbeat of a growing group of high-performing venues, including those iconic names mentioned above.
We are seeking a passionate and detail-driven Bookkeeper to join our dynamic Head Office finance team right at the centre of Brisbane’s hospitality innovation. Working closely with our Head of Finance, you’ll ensure financial clarity, precision, and compliance across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable across multiple entities
Manage and prepare bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities
Prepare and coordinate end-of-month processes, including journals and accruals
Assist with monthly and quarterly management reports and cash flow statements
Support the preparation of BAS, PAYG, and superannuation obligations
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting alongside senior management
Liaise with external accountants and assist with account‑related queries and ad hoc reporting
Strong focus on accounting in this role, account payable, invoicing
Collaborate with suppliers and external stakeholders as needed
Monitor and improve internal financial controls and procedures
Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and deadlines
What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance management roles
Some experience in the hospitality industry is desirable
Proficiency in Xero, MS Office, and familiarity with accounting software
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting/bookkeeping principles and procedures
Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry and reconciliations
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet shifting deadlines
Self-directed, proactive, and able to complete projects with limited supervision
Cert IV or Diploma in accounting and booking is highly desirable
