Opportunity
Working with Ghanem Group means being part of a creative, diverse, and rapidly expanding hospitality network from riverside fine dining and stylish rooftop venues to heritage pub restorations and multi-level, multi concept precincts. From Blackbird, Luc Lac to Donna Chang and Boom Boom Room to name a few. You'll be immersed in compelling projects that blend design, cuisine, cultural storytelling, and innovation.
We are looking for a fantastic Assistant Restaurant Managers to work across some of the Ghanem group finest venues. You’ll ensure smooth and efficient FOH operations across restaurants, and events. You’ll be a key leadership figure. Hands‑on, guest‑focused, and central to creating exceptional hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare for service periods, ensuring staff levels match anticipated business needs.
Oversee table allocations, stock levels, and mise en place readiness before service.
Maintain high standards of service, providing hands-on support during peak periods.
Manage VIP arrivals and ensure exceptional service for distinguished guests.
Address and resolve customer concerns, upholding our commitment to excellence.
Prepare staff rosters and covers shifts, considering operational demands and planned absences.
Coach, motivate, and monitor team performance, fostering a collaborative environment.
Collaborate with chefs and bar teams to enhance menu offerings and staff training.
Support sales and marketing efforts with in-venue activations and promotions.
Ensure compliance with quality management, hygiene, and safety policies.
What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant and bar environment.
Well presented and groomed individual
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
Experience with POS systems and rostering software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Commitment to professionalism and attention to detail.
Valid RSA is required
Able to work full time hours and be flexible with availability. Weekend availability is a must.

$70,000 - $75,000 + Super
