About the role
As the Facilities Manager at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's buildings and facilities.
This full-time position is based in Ballarat, VIC and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans to keep facilities running smoothly
Coordinating and supervising the work of contractors and service providers
Monitoring and reporting on the performance of building systems and equipment
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Managing budgets and resources to optimise operational efficiency
Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address facility-related issues
Implementing sustainable practices and initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of our operations
What we're looking for
Significant experience (5+ years) in a facilities management role, preferably in the real estate or property industry
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and project management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
Proven ability to manage budgets and optimise operational efficiency
Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as engineering, construction, or facilities management
