About the role

We're seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist with some Dental Assisting (No dental experience necessary but must be willing to learn) for our part-time role at our dental practice in Ballarat, VIC 3350. You'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients while supporting our dental team with various clinical duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career. What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to the dental practice in a warm and friendly manner

Handling patient bookings, rescheduling, and following up on appointments

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information in our database

Assisting the dental team with chairside duties such as preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments

Providing general support to the dentists and dental assistants as required

Ensuring the reception area and practice are clean, tidy and well-presented at all times

What we're looking for

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Must be reliable

No dental experience is necessary

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good computer skills

An interest in the dental industry and a willingness to learn new skills

A friendly, professional and positive attitude
