About the role

We are seeking an experienced Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Synergy Air in West Swan, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the service maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential and light commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Install, service and repair a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including split systems, ducted systems, and commercial refrigeration units

Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently

Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance tasks to optimise system performance

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on appropriate solutions

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Maintain detailed records of work undertaken and parts used

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32211 or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, preferably in a similar role

Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including an understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients

Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality work

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required

A commitment to workplace health and safety is essential

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work within a team and independently as required.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Ability to pass a pre-employment National Police Clearance

Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights

Current ARCTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence

Current Restricted Electrical Licence for air conditioning work

Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
