We’re excited to expand our casual pool and seek expressions of interest from qualified educators with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. If you're in the area or willing to travel to KU ANSTO as well as pick up shifts at, KU Heathcote and KU Sutherland. We’d love to hear from you!

Nestled in the tranquil bushland of the ANSTO Lucas Heights Campus (just south of Sydney near Menai), KU ANSTO Children's Centre offers a special opportunity for passionate early childhood educators. With on-site parking available, this centre is perfect for those with their own transport looking to work in a nature-rich setting.

As a casual educator, you can work across various age groups, supporting our dedicated permanent staff in delivering high-quality, play-based early childhood education programs. Responsibilities include creative play, monitoring developmental progress, maintaining strong communication with the team, and ensuring adherence to safety and childcare regulations.

Must have:

  • Recognised Certificate III or equivalent as approved by ACECQA
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Training demonstrating current knowledge of Child Protection legislation
  • Australian working rights
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
