About the Role

As the Child Care Worker – Certificate III, you will:

Provide an environment that promotes and ensures the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all children attending the centre.

Treat children and families professionally, confidentially and with respect

Follow all Council and centre Policies and Procedures.

Maintain a high standard of health and hygiene.

Interact with children in a positive and active manner.

What You’ll Bring

An ACECQA approved certificate 3 in early education and care qualification

Experience working with children aged from 0 to 6 years in a formal education and care setting

CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk or CHCPRT001 Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk.

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Desirable

Awareness of the National Quality Framework, including ‘Early Years Learning Framework’.

Awareness of multicultural and anti-bias aspects and the ability to incorporate these into the daily program
