As a Protective Services Officer, you will provide quality healthcare protective services ranging in nature from prevention to response and recovery.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive security services and assistance to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors whilst also protecting the physical assets of the SCHHS.
• Provide primary response to fire alarms and other emergencies, under direction of Chief Emergency Warden.
• Guard, watch and patrol to ensure that the facility's security integrity is maintained, keeping an accurate record of daily activities/incidents in official notebooks, security logs, etc.
• Actively contribute to the de-escalation of patient responses, behaviour and incidents utilising endorsed evidenced-based contemporary practices.

Salary between $67 492 - $71 412 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $34.02 - $36.01 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (OO3) (several full time and part time positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
