About the role

We are seeking a talented Barista all rounder to join our tight-knit team at the Gardens Tearooms' in The Range QLD 4700. This is a casual position where you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee and beverages to our guests.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages to our customers

Maintaining a clean, well-organised, and inviting café environment

Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests

Accurately processing customer orders and handling cash and payments

Assisting with food preparation tasks as needed

Restocking and maintaining inventory of café supplies

Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar café/hospitality role

Strong knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques, and the ability to prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Good time management and multi-tasking skills

Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities

Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
