We are seeking an energetic & enthusiastic House person / Public Area Cleaner to join our friendly and dedicated Be. Fremantle Team Monday to Friday. This casual role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and smooth operation of the Serviced Apartments while supporting the housekeeping teams.

Be. Fremantle is a serviced apartment hotel on the waters edge in the iconic Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, offering spacious and well-appointed studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments. Our established brand looks to make a difference in providing a customer experience like no other. Offering our guests a place to rest and reinvigorate is one of our core values and we are looking for the the right person who will complement our already outstanding team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Heavy Cleaning: Vacuuming common area carpets, mopping, cleaning/dusting furniture and fixtures.

Public Area Care: Keeping Reception, walkways, gardens areas and other public spaces clean, moving and cleaning bins and ensuring all spaces are hygienic, and welcoming.

Stocking & Supplies: Organising and restocking linen closets and housekeeping storage areas.

Housekeeping Support: Assisting with physically demanding tasks, including setting up and moving linen trolleys, taking linen into apartments for the Housekeeping team, moving furniture/equipment, setting up guests requests such as rollaway beds, portacots and stair guards and cleaning windows.

Guest Service: Assisting with guest requests, including luggage support, and ensuring a comfortable stay.

Maintenance Checks: Reporting maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with housekeeping and maintenance, to keep operations running smoothly.

What we are looking for:

Strong attention to detail with a passion for providing quality guest service

Good communication and time management skills with a friendly personality

A person who is a well-rounded team player, that will be hands-on in order to see their team succeed

Someone who is physically fit and comfortable working autonomously

The flexibility to work over a seven-day roster starting at 8am
