About the role

We are seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Down to Earth Training and Assessing in Rockingham, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our clients, ensuring they receive the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their chosen field. High Risk Assessors are encouraged to apply. The person we are looking for is happy to travel regionally on a regular basis

What you'll be doing

Delivering training programs across a range of subject areas including Confined Space and Gas Testing, Working at Heights, basic mobile plant such as Skid Steer etc

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to training and assessment activities

Continuously updating your own knowledge and skills to stay current with industry best practices

Collaborating with the wider team to improve training and assessment processes

Providing excellent customer service to our clients throughout the training and assessment journey

What we're looking for

Relevant vocational qualifications and experience in the Workplace Training & Assessment industry

Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants

Proficient in assessing competencies and providing meaningful feedback

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adaptable and able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement
