About the Role

As a Trainer Assessor, you'll play a key role in delivering nationally recognised training, supporting students to gain practical skills, and ensuring compliance with RTO and industry standards. Your real-world experience and passion for mentoring will help learners succeed both in the classroom and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training and assess students in civil construction qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Civil Construction)
• Develop and adapt learning resources and assessment tools
• Provide student support and mentoring throughout their learning journey
• Maintain accurate training records and comply with RTO and ASQA standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure training reflects current industry practices

About You

• Hold a current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Have relevant qualifications and industry experience in civil construction
• Hold or be willing to obtain relevant licences/tickets (e.g., White Card, plant operation tickets)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and commitment to student success
• Sound knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience delivering training in an RTO environment
• Current industry currency and professional development logs
• Ability to deliver both face-to-face and online/blended learning
