The Little Sisters of the Poor, Mount St Joseph's Home currently is in need of a Casual Cook in the kitchen. We are a not for profit Aged Care home. We can therefore also offer salary packaging.
The shifts are Saturday and Sunday 7am - 3pm in addition to that if you can cover the Catering Managers Annual leave and Monthly ADO that would be ideal.
We can also offer some Catering Attendant shifts if you wish but that is not essential.
We are looking for someone with experience as a Cook within an Aged Care environment. You will also hold a Certificate in Hospitality or Food Safety.
We are seeking applications from candidates who can display:
Initiative to undertake a variety of tasks
Aged Care experience
A friendly manner
Flexibility with rostered hours
Ability to work as part of a high paced team
Good communication and English skills are essential.
Food Safety knowledge
You must have a working visa and a current police clearance certificate or willingness to obtain one.
