South Pacific Seeds is seeking an enthusiastic Field Machinery Manager/Operator to join our specialist seed production team based at our facility in Naracoorte, SA.

SPS is an Australian owned company producing high quality vegetable seed across the SE of SA.

The focus of this role is to operate and maintain the companies field machinery to produce high quality seed crops for the export market.

Key attributes of the individual include:

Experience in tractor driving & maintenance of associated machinery.

Ability to operate & maintain Case Header (not essential)

Attention to detail and ability to keep field records.

GPS/Auto steer knowledge.

Good time management and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of small passionate team.

Prepared to work varied hours at peak periods.

On job training provided

Experience preferred but candidates with right attitude and willing to learn will be strongly considered.

The position offers an interesting and varied role working with a large range of vegetable species from seeding through to harvest with great long term career potential.

A fully maintained vehicle and phone & with an attractive salary package will be negotiated with the right person.
