Our 32-bed Cardiothoracic Unit is searching for passionate Nurses to provide pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgical and interventional cardiac procedures. Our team also manages medical admissions from the emergency department and direct referrals from our specialist rooms.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current registration with APHRA as Registered or Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience in an acute surgical or cardiothoracic setting
• Recent and relevant experience in cardiothoracic nursing highly desirable
• Ability to coordinate care and provide expert patient advice

Remuneration

A base hourly rate, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances:

Registered Nurses: $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation (NSW Registered Nurse/Midwife Year 1-8)

Enrolled Nurses: $33.95- $36.6 + superannuation (NSW Enrolled Nurse Year 1-thereafter)

The Hospital

Lake Macquarie Private Hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, is an acute medical and advanced surgical hospital providing a wide range of essential services to the local residents of the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie cites and well as the broader Hunter – New England areas.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
