Full Time HC Semi Trailer Driver

We are looking for a reliable full time HC semi-trailer truck driver to join our growing business. Friendly work environment & family owned and operated business.

Role will be carrying timber (which does not require tarping) to Sydney basin, Hunter, South Coast & ACT.

Experience in carrying timber an advantage.

The prime mover is a Volvo FM450 with an open 45foot drop deck trailer.

Fork at each end to load and unload you.

5 days a week. Home every night.

You must be reliable, motivated, flexible, well presented, have good written and verbal communication skills as well as being a safe and responsible driver. You will be required to work independently and navigate your own way around to deliveries; a GPS is provided in the truck.

Early starts are required on some days and some late finishes.

The yard is based in St Marys, you must have your own transport to travel to and from there.

Base wage of $32/hr for the first 8hrs each day. Penalty rates for the next 2 hours at time and a half & any hours over 10 is at double time. Drivers currently average 50-60hrs per week.

Paid weekly.

Experience preferred with a minimum of 2 years HC license.

Will be required to supply a full, up to date RMS driver’s license history printout.
