About the role

Dickies Transport is seeking an experienced HC Float Driver to join our team in Penrith, NSW. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our road transport operations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of goods across Sydney, Rural NSW and Interstate locations.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy combination vehicles to transport a variety of Machinery and construction Equipment.

Collecting and Delivering Machinery to a variety of locations within Sydney, Rural NSW, Aswell as interstate runs. This Position will involve being away from home most nights.

Loading and unloading Machinery and Equipment from vehicles as required.

Adhering to all road rules, safety regulations and company policies

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintaining accurate logs and documentation

Providing exceptional customer service to clients

What we're looking for

Current HC class driver's licence with a clean driving record

Experience operating heavy combination vehicles

Experience loading and unloading machinery from Drop decks and low loaders.

Experience operating tilt trays would be an advantage.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills
