We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant for a part time or casual position for a Friday only with the opportunity to increase days in the new year.

There are no late nights with our hours being 7.45am-5.15pm.

Your role:

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be required to effectively assist the dentist/hygienist in patient comfort and care while delivering dental treatment in a general practice.

Responsibilities:

Providing all aspects of chair-side assistance to dentist/hygienists in general practice

Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service

Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation following high infection control standards

Maintaining equipment and surgeries

Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures

Completing daily/monthly/yearly environmental cleaning tasks

Provide reception and administration support where required

Essential skills and attributes:

Experienced- cert III or IV

A high level of initiative and motivation

Strong attention to detail

Great work ethic & professionalism

A complete understanding of good infection control procedures or a willingness to learn

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and multitask

Great at time management

Professional appearance and attitude

Knowledge of Oasis software preferred but not essential
