We are looking to grow our small friendly firm with an accountant who appreciates our relaxed and flexible atmosphere.

We are looking for the right person with the following qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and least 2 years of accounting experience; however long-term experience in a tax firm without qualifications will be considered.

· Strong practical understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices.

· Experience with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

· Preparation of tax returns for individuals (including rental properties) and small businesses.

· Assist in preparing quarterly BAS.

· Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll and bookkeeping predominately in Xero.

· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Provide administrative support to the admin department as needed.
