Newly created role for an Intermediate Accountant to join a multi-office practice, who are experiencing significant growth on the Sunshine Coast.

About the role:

Engage with a diverse client base of primary production, professional services, trades, and construction businesses (plus more)

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entities (excluding SMSF)

Mentoring graduate accountants when required with general

Div. 7A, PSI, CGT and FBT Calculations

Liaison with the ATO on queries

Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records

Support clients and/or their bookkeeper on accounting matters

What you will bring:

2-3+ years previous experience working in an Australian accounting firm

Tertiary qualifications in accounting/commerce/finance

Experience maintaining client relationships and liaising with clients directly (advantageous)

CA/CPA in progress, or looking to begin (full support provided)

Excellent attention to detail & good organisational skills

Xero, MYOB & Reckon knowledge

Ambition & drive to progress in your role/the firm
