About the Program
As a registered NDIS provider, we offer a wide range of tailored, flexible and quality services for people with disability of all ages and needs. NDIS Support Coordination services are designed to support participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with their NDIS plans. Anglicare NT Support Coordinators are able to help people living anywhere in the Northern Territory.
About the Opportunity
Please Note: This role is based in Katherine, however we welcome applications from candidates located in Darwin who are willing to travel to Katherine on a regular basis
As a Support Coordinator, you will work closely with NDIS participants to help them understand and implement their plans, connect with services, and achieve their goals. You’ll build strong relationships, coordinate supports, and ensure participants are actively engaged in their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coordination of supports or support connection to NDIS participants.
- Assist participants to understand their plans and navigate the NDIS portal.
- Coordinate and manage a range of supports tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor progress, expenditure, and outcomes aligned with participant goals.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports to NDIA.
- Build effective relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma) in social sciences, health, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in case management within the disability or health sector.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and community-based supports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and IT skills.
- Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.
Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
