We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following positions, with commencement anticipated from November 2025 onwards (possible start January 2026). An immediate start is available for the Engineering Fabrication Apprentice role.

Panel Prep Product Assemblers
Machine Operators
Qualified Metal Tradespersons (including Welders)
Apprentice – Engineering Fabrication (immediate start)
About the roles
Panel Prep Product Assembler
Prepare composite and aluminium panels for cladding systems
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape and finish materials
Assist with general workshop duties, including packing and dispatch
Support tradespeople with assembly and installation activities
Machine Operator
Operate and adjust workshop plant and equipment such as CNC machines, guillotines, press brakes, rollers and saws
Follow technical instructions to process sheet metal and aluminium panels
Check materials against specifications before and after processing
Assist with loading/unloading materials and general housekeeping tasks
Qualified Metal Tradesperson (including Welder)
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical plans and job specifications
Select, measure and prepare metal stock including aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised iron, mild steel and copper
Weld, join and assemble components using MIG, TIG or ARC welding techniques
Basic welding tickets required for MIG, TIG or ARC welding techniques
Carry out finishing processes such as grinding, sanding and polishing
Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, rollers and hand tools
Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with standards
Provide guidance and support to apprentices and trades assistants
Apprentice – Engineering Fabrication (Immediate Start)
Learn to read and work from drawings and specifications under supervision
Assist in cutting, shaping, assembling and welding sheet metal and components
Operate basic workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
Participate in training and mentoring to build trade skills over time
Support general workshop duties, housekeeping, and safe material handling
You will have:
Trade qualification (or equivalent experience) in metal fabrication, welding, or related trades
Minimum 3-5 years equivalent experience required for non-qualified applicants in metal fabrication or related trades
OR interest in commencing an Engineering Fabrication apprenticeship (immediate start available)
Experience in workshop or production environments, with confidence using hand and power tools
White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Forklift licence (desirable)
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Physical fitness and ability to handle repetitive lifting up to 25kg
Reliability, teamwork and willingness to complete pre-employment checks
Sponsorship available for candidates without existing Australian work authorisation
