About the role

As the Leading Hand at JCM Construction in Perth, WA, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled construction workers to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of construction projects. This is a full-time role that will see you playing a pivotal part in the success of the company's operations in the region.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of construction workers to complete projects on time and to a high standard

Monitoring worker productivity and identifying opportunities for process improvements

Ensuring adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders

Providing hands-on support and guidance to the construction team as required

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

Occasional Manual labour work when required (lifting items/loading materials as needed)

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Leading Hand or Foreperson in the construction industry

Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Fit and healthy, and able to do manual tasks when required

Own Vehicle & tools, Company to pay allowance for use
