A leading chartered name in Parramatta is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. They are an award winning business advisory and financial services firm with 20 staff and have developed a strong reputation in the marketplace demonstrated by a growing client base ranging across SMEs, large consolidated groups, HNW family groups and investments. Clear career paths and structured training sessions have seen this firm boast strong staff retention.

Reporting to a Manager, you’ll be working in a compliance and advisory capacity. This role will require you to be involved closely with your clients in order add value to their long-term goals.

Some responsibilities include (depending on experience level):

Managing a small portfolio of complex clients

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, SMSFs and various group structures.

Attending to taxation matters including Div7A, GST, FBT & CGT and small business concessions

Working with clients on future business decisions including structuring, tax planning and tax strategies

Assisting Managers with additional advisory projects

Applicants

Minimum 4 years' experience in business services/tax experience in an Australian accounting firm

CA or CPA qualified/studying

Ability to manage client relationships and have a client-centric mindset

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
