As a result they have an immediate need for a Commercial Consultant, who is dynamic, result-driven and has a knack for developing new business opportunities while building long lasting relationships
What will my day to day look like?
Within the role, you will directly report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for managing and originating Commercial Finance enquiries, including all steps of involved in the lending sales cycle. The role will be the primary contact for all stakeholders involved including prospects, clients, referrers and external lenders.
Originations & Deal Management
- Managing and originating Commercial finance enquiries, including all aspects involved in the lending sales cycle as well as complete product suite. Day to day interactions could cover commercial property, business acquisition loans, equipment, cars, fit outs to support professional clients with their next move.
- Collating all necessary information required for loan applications and submitting this into the CRM (Dynamics 365) and lending systems and those of the external funders as appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure they have everything they need to execute credit application process, in line with brand promise.
- Dealing with medical professionals as well as all industry participants ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from all involved from start to finish.
- Acting as the primary contact for all stakeholders involved, including prospects & clients, equipment & accountant referrers, internal staff and external lenders throughout the finance process.
Account Management & Business Relationships
- Always acting as a brand representative with the ability to move between different situations and scenarios with the client’s best interest as number one motivation.
- Maintaining and nurturing client relationships, developing an in-depth understanding of client’s ambition (short term and long goals) and current challenges; help clients strategize and achieve long term /high level goals.
- Maintaining and developing ongoing business relationships with referrers, lenders, and other third-party relationships as appropriate.
Marketing
- Developing a sales and marketing plan in collaboration with the Head of Lending and as well as other stakeholders to recognise new opportunities and further business development.
- Attending trade shows, events, engaging in social media activities (blogs, podcasts) to build company and individual profile
Key Requirements
- Extensive knowledge in the business lending environment, including compliance, credit and documentation processes.
Skills
- Exceptional communication (verbal & written) coupled with superior customer service skills to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills (internally and externally)
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to think outside the square
- Excellent time management skills

Experience
- Experience working within banking, finance, medical, insurance, sales, customer service industry.
- Experience within industry support roles such as sales support, relationship managing, lending associate, or similar.
