We are looking for a full time Fruit Farm Worker to join the team. Working from Monday- Friday for 8 hours per day. We are looking for a full-time employee. The successful applicant must be able to perform the following responsibilities and duties:
Utilizing hand tools and agricultural equipment such as farm machinery to plant trees, seedlings. Using agricultural equipment and farm machinery to cultivate, fertilize, spray and harvest fruit. Chemical spraying of trees and other plants to prevent the spread of diseases, fungi, insects and weeds. Grading, sorting, bunching and packaging product into boxes. Irrigating land for crop growth. Selecting and picking fruit according to size and freshness; discarding decaying and overripe produce. The successful applicant must have the following: At least 1 year of relevant work experience. More experience within the field will be looked at advantageously.
Must hold a Cert II in Agriculture or higher, completed in Australia.
