The Role
We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (3+ years PQE) to join our West Melbourne team on a part-time, flexible basis. You will be working with one of the Managing Associates of our firm. You will manage a variety of family law matters including separation, divorce, parenting disputes, property settlements, and mediation. Working from home options and flexible hours are also available to the right candidate.

Experience in criminal law will be highly regarded, and familiarity with LEAP legal software is also advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality advice in family law matters, criminal law matters and intervention order matters

Draft and review affidavits, consent orders, and court applications.

Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings.

Manage your caseload efficiently.

Build strong, professional client relationships.

About You

Admitted to practice in Victoria.

Admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia.

Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience in family law.

Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.

Criminal law experience (advantageous).

Proficient in LEAP legal software.

Professional, empathetic, and client-focused.
