About the Role
Food & Beverage Supervisors are a front of house utility position responsible for providing food & beverage service at cocktail and sit-down style events, loading delivery vehicles and delivering food, beverages and equipment to corporate client sites, venues and private event locations, and performing other food & beverage related duties as required.
This position involves driving a refrigerated van (automatic Hyundai iLoad) and works closely with the Operations Managers to ensure successful implementation of company procedures and to create remarkable guest experiences.
There are a variety of shifts available and differing quantities of weekly hours available depending on applicant requirements.
The position is primarily based at our office in Hendra as well as at offsite events and client sites.
Hours & Pay
This is a casual position and classified as Level Five under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award:
Mon-Fri - $37.35 p/h + Penalties + Super
Sat - $44.82 p/h + Super
Qualifications & Experience
Open driver's license (automatic).
Physically fit.
Excellent customer service skills.
Time management, communication & planning skills.
Excellent food & beverage service knowledge and ability.
Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
Experience providing food and beverage service for sit-down and cocktail style events.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide an exemplary level of customer service.
Load catering vans with food orders, beverages & equipment and perform deliveries to client sites.
Ensure food safety records are maintained.
Collect equipment, food & beverages from venues post event and return them to base.
Assist with basic catering & admin duties.
Work autonomously or as part of a small team.
Provide food & beverage service at offsite events including set up, event execution and pack down for small to medium sized cocktail and sit-down style events.
