About the role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at A1 auto service and repair in Truganina, VIC. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles. This is a full-time position and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy auto workshop.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance on vehicles

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults

Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs have been carried out effectively

Completing job cards and other documentation accurately

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

Providing excellent customer service and advice

What we're looking for

Qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic

diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of the latest automotive technologies and repair methods

Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail

A positive, team-oriented attitude
