About Us:
Skerman Civil is a leading civil construction company based in Brisbane, specialising in infrastructure projects including roadworks, earthworks, and urban development. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality work across a range of construction projects throughout Queensland. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for experienced Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy combination (HC) trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and equipment to and from construction sites as well as operate water carts across projects.

Safely load and unload construction materials and plant.

Adhere to all safety protocols and compliance requirements on site and during transport.

Perform daily vehicle inspections, ensuring proper maintenance of trucks.

Work collaboratively with site foreman, machine operators, and other team members.

Assist with general laboring duties as required during downtime.

Requirements:

Valid HC Truck License.

Previous experience driving in a civil construction environment is preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Ability to operate various types of trucks including tipper trucks and water carts.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.

Good communication skills and a team player attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
