An exciting opportunity has become available for a Truck Driver to join our team based in Allora QLD.

Job Overview

Under the general direction of the Production Manager, the Truck Driver will perform transport and logistical tasks. The role is different everyday and can see you travelling inter & intra state to your destinations. The ability to stay away overnight and work weekends are required from time to time.

Minimum Licencing Requirement is a HC Licence .

Role-Specific Responsibilities

The Duties and Responsibilities of the Truck Driver are:

• transport finished goods and raw materials via road to and from the manufacturing workshop and/or construction sites;
• inspect vehicles for mechanical faults and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance;
• plan travel routes and meet delivery schedules;
• document and log work & rest periods and driving kilometres, and retain fuel/toll receipts;
• comply with Government truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as company policies and procedures.
• manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions;
• collect and verify delivery instructions; and
• report defects, accidents, or violations.
