Hub Advisory Group are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Accountant to join our professional team on a full-time basis, acting as the cornerstone of our technical operations. This is more than just an accounting position- It’s a leadership pathway!

Duties & responsibilities:

Manage and review tax returns, BAS, financial statements, and compliance work

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure quality control measures are adhered to

Liaise with clients on technical matters to support their financial needs

Collaborate with the owner on process improvements and client strategy

Contribute to building a scalable and efficient practice

Experience & qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a public Accountancy position

Solid understanding of Australian taxation legislation and confidentiality laws

Strong technical tax knowledge with an analytical approach and research skills

Proficiency with Excel, Xero, BGL software, and MYOB

Prior experience with SMSF Audits and Administration

Keen time management skills to work effectively within deadlines

Willingness to grow into advisory and strategic planning (training provided)
