A major Australian Construction group at the forefront of the industry are seeking to employ a contract administrator to join them on a major $150m+ infrastructure project in central Melbourne. With a strong leadership team, this is an excellent industry opportunity to develop your experience on a high-profile project.

Role
As a Contract Administrator, you will ensure contracts are met within cost estimates and are administered to company standards

• Assist in the effective and profitable management of all contract information;
• Draw up all subcontract and supplier documentation of a project of high complexity
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all project contract documentation including head contracts and subcontracts
• Assist the project team in the administration of contracts including procurement, budgets, progress claims, written documentation, and disputes
• Analysis and appraisal of tender submissions
• Dispute resolution - Analysis of claims and counter claims including liaising with legal advisors if required
• Competently and accurately support in the setup of Progress Claims, support regular Processing and Review
• Effectively support procurement activities during tender and delivery phase

Background
To be considered for this role you will have:

• 3 + years' experience with a Tier 1 or 2 Contractor
• Tertiary Qualifications in Commercial Management, Commercial Law, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Previous experience in the infrastructure, resources or engineering industries.
• Experience with procurement, head contract claims, notices and variations.
