Job Title: Pressure Jetting Truck Operator
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Pressure Jetting Truck Operator to join our team. As a Pressure Jetting Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialised cleaning equipment to maintain and clean sewer lines, storm drains, and Perform Non Destructive Digging. Your primary goal will be to ensure the optimal functioning of the assets and looking after the equipment being used.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a Pressure Jetting cleaning truck.
Perform routine inspections of sewer lines, storm drains, and other drainage systems to identify potential issues or blockages.
Use high-pressure water jets to clear blockages and thoroughly clean sewage and drainage systems.
Utilize vacuum equipment to extract debris, sludge, and other waste materials from sewer lines and drains.
Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on the vacuum/drain cleaning truck to ensure its proper functioning.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). - Coordinate with team members and supervisors to efficiently complete assigned tasks within given timelines.
Monitor and record operational data, such as job completion reports, maintenance logs, and any potential issues encountered. - Follow all relevant regulations and guidelines regarding confined space entry and working at heights. Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the work area.
Requirements:
Valid road ranger license.
Class HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence required.
Prior experience operating vacuum/drain cleaning trucks is highly desirable.
Minimum 1-2 years experience operating vacuum/drain cleaning trucks required.
Proficiency in operating high-pressure water jets and vacuum equipment.
Confined space and Working at heights training certification is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in high-pressure jetting techniques is highly advantageous. strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues and blockages promptly.
Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
A keen focus on safety and adherence to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Valid Australian work authorisation required.
