• the package: $84,308 to $100,539 plus superannuation per annum

About the role
Want to work in a busy environment in a collaborative and supportive team. This role offers a blend of corporate accounting responsibilities, while providing business support to individual budget owners to identify risk and manage finances efficiently. A keen eye for detail, clear communications skills, timely responsiveness and a willingness to assist will be valuable as you develop your career with us.

To be considered for this position you will need to:
• Address the essential requirements of the role as per position description
• Supply relevant certificates and licences, including drivers licence
• Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this position. You will need to demonstrate how you meet the focus capabilities and how your skills will enable you to achieve the key accountabilities.
• Target questions - answer the target questions - maximum 300 words each question
Q1. What experience have you had in monitoring expenditure against budget?
Q2. Give examples of some of the common financial processes you use in your work.
Q3. What different approaches have you used in talking with different people? How did you know you were getting your point across?

This position is located at Council's Grafton Office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
