HPC are currently recruiting for a Project Officer to work within the Project Services team on a fixed term basis to cover a period of parental leave.
About the Position
The Project Officer supports the CEO and Executive in delivering strategic, operational, and administrative projects, building relationships with partners and the community to achieve organisational outcomes. This exciting part-time opportunity is available for 22.8 hours per week from mid-October 2025 to mid-July 2026.
About the Role
You will collaborate with stakeholders to support project planning, documentation, monitoring, evaluation, and communication. This involves coordinating multiple projects, assisting with risk management, and ensuring compliance.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Support Senior Project Officer and lead delegated projects across HPC
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support consultations
* Undertake administration including project planning, documentation and reporting
* Support risk management, compliance and change management activities
* Facilitate project meetings, communications and stakeholder engagement
Essential Skills & Experience
* Understanding of strategic projects and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to research, analyse and problem-solve.
* Ability to implement and manage administrative and compliance processes.
* Strong interpersonal skills such as negotiation, persuasion, conflict resolution and customer service.
* Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment.
* High level written and verbal communication skills.
* Well developed organisational, problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to meet multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
* Capable of functioning with an elevated level of autonomy.
