About the Opportunity
The MHDA Clinical Nurse Educator's (CNE) primary role will be in the Mental Health inpatient units and the Mental Health Emergency Consultation Service (MHECS) at the WWBH; secondly the role will support the orientation, learning and development of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing staff across the MHDA service.
The CNE will work under the direct line management of the MHDA Director of Nursing and in collaboration with the Co-Ordinator Workforce Development, the Coordinator of Consumer Participation, the Nurse Unit Managers (NUM) and the Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs) to develop and implement clinical education programs relevant to mental health nursing capabilities that reflect the recovery and trauma informed care principles.
