This opportunity is ideal for university students studying teaching or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on experience.
The Role
As an Assistant Educator at HERO, you’ll be a key part of our training team, supporting lead educators to deliver world-class courses. This role has specifically been developed to assist lead educators in delivering a smooth and impactful learner experience. This role is during peak periods, where we engage and teach life-saving skills to thousands of teachers and school support staff across Melbourne and Sydney.
The role will require you to
Transport and set up training equipment to ensure smooth sessions.
Take attendance and assist with learner tracking.
Provide learner support, helping them with practical tasks and ensuring their success.
Work closely with lead educators to deliver an exceptional learning environment.

Essential Skills and Experience
Strong attention to detail for learner assessment and record-keeping.
The ability to work well under pressure, ensuring smooth course delivery.
A passion for education and empowering others.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with learners and staff.
Availability
Seasonal Contract (November - Mid Feb 2026) with ongoing positions available.
Must be available Monday - Friday, especially during December and late January
Hours range from 8:15 am to 5:30 pm
Contract Starts - November
Technology Requirements
Must have a personal laptop and access to Wifi
