We’re now seeking a Senior Operations Technical Manager to elevate our technical training, product design, and support for our national sales and operations teams.

About the Role

As the Senior Operations Technical Manager, you will serve as a vital technical bridge between design, installation, and sales. You’ll lead technical training, assess system designs and configurations, and support grid applications to ensure every project is compliant, efficient, and high-performing.

This role suits either:

A qualified and experienced Solar Installer (electrical trade-qualified, ideally CEC accredited), or

A Solar Engineer with hands-on residential design, battery integration, and grid connection experience.

Your Responsibilities

Mentor and support the sales team with technical knowledge

Deliver structured training on solar and battery systems

Review and refine product configurations and design principles

Conduct system and battery reviews to ensure compliance

Oversee Pre-Site Reports and manage installation variations

Prepare Voltage Rise calculations and Single Line Diagrams

Collaborate with DNSPs and assist with grid connection processes

What We’re Looking For

Cert III/IV in Electrotechnology or an Engineering Degree (solar-focused)

Proven experience in residential solar design and installation

Excellent knowledge of CEC regulations and grid connection standards

Ability to train, support, and coach technical and non-technical staff

Strong communication and documentation skills

Highly organised with a problem-solving mindset
