About the role

Rainforest Bakery is seeking a talented Pastry Cook Decorator to join our team in our Everton Hills, Queensland bakery. In this casual role, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious pastries and desserts to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing high-quality pastry and bakery products according to recipes and presentation standards

Decorating and finishing pastries, cakes and other baked goods with piping, glazing, dusting and other techniques

Ensuring all work areas and equipment are clean, sanitised and well-maintained

Collaborating with the wider bakery team to deliver exceptional customer service

Maintaining strong food safety and hygiene practices

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a pastry cook or decorator, ideally within a bakery or similar environment

Exceptional decorating and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail and presentation

Strong knowledge of baking methods, ingredients and food safety regulations

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills
