What a Solar Electrician Does Day to Day
In this role, you will use your licensed electrician skills to manage solar PV and battery system installations across the Fraser Coast region. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing solar PV and battery storage systems
• Supervising apprentices and labourers, ensuring safe and productive worksites
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues on-site
• Maintaining compliance with electrical standards and workplace safety rules
• Communicating with clients and project teams to deliver outstanding results
• Driving the company vehicle to installation and service sites

Skills and Experience Needed to Succeed as a Solar Electrician

You dont need your Solar Accereditation to apply - all you needs is the ability and willingness to obtain solar and battery accreditation before starting the job (two courses that take about four weeks, can be done online or in-person).

• Licensed Electrician qualification in Queensland
• Commitment to achieving or maintaining CEC solar and battery accreditation
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
• Full work rights in Australia (Permanent Resident or equivalent visa)
