The Opportunity

As a Commercial Renewable Energy Engineer, you will:

Design and develop commercial solar, battery, and EV charging systems.

Produce single-line diagrams, protection drawings, and technical documentation to achieve network approval and compliance.

Oversee feasibility studies, energy yield analysis, and site assessments.

Lead grid connection applications, commissioning, and system optimisation.

Liaise with DNSPs, RPEQs, NER engineers, installers, and energy retailers to ensure efficient delivery.

Manage projects end-to-end budgeting, risk planning, and stakeholder coordination.

Mentor junior engineers while driving continuous innovation.

About You

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Renewable, or related discipline).

Strong knowledge of DNSP requirements, AS/NZS standards, and commercial PV compliance.

Proficiency in solar design software and energy data analysis.

Demonstrated experience delivering commercial solar/battery/EV projects.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial solar, battery, or EV projects is required.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions for clients.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Our on-site office is located in Newstead, Brisbane, with the option to work remotely from home. We offer flexibility to support your ideal working conditions.
