The Warehouse Assistant supports the efficient operation of the warehouse by handling stock control, order preparation, deliveries, and general warehouse duties. This role is essential to ensuring accurate inventory management and timely service to stores and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management

Receive, check, and unpack incoming stock deliveries.

Accurately record and store inventory in the correct locations.

Assist with regular stocktakes and cycle counts.

Report discrepancies or damaged stock to management.

General Warehouse Operations

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.

Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely and responsibly.

Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures.

Team Support

Assist store teams with product requests and stock enquiries.

Work collaboratively with the Floor Managers and other staff.

Support seasonal/peak periods with extra duties as required (e.g., large deliveries, sale preparation).
