We’re Hiring – Baker / Pastry Chef

Full-Time

We are currently seeking Full-time Experienced/Qualified Baker/Apprentice Baker. If you love creating fresh, quality bread, pastries, and bakery treats, this is the perfect opportunity.

We run a 6-day production and as well as stocking our busy bakery café, we supply many wholesale customers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a baker or pastry chef (trade qualification preferred but not essential).

• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Early morning availability.

• Passion for quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

• Team player with good communication skills.

Key Duties:

• Preparing and baking breads, rolls, pastries, cakes and specialty products.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Assisting in recipe development and seasonal specials.

• Ensuring products meet VJ’s Bakery’s high standards.
