About the role

Riversdale Estate in Cambridge, TAS is seeking an experienced Part-time Chef to join our talented culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality, locally-sourced meals for our on-site restaurant and event catering. What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a range of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Ensuring all meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation

Assisting with menu development and implementation

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications or experience in commercial food preparation and cooking

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

Adaptability and the ability to work well in a team

Passion for using fresh, local ingredients to create delicious meals
