We’re on the hunt for a qualified and experienced chef to join our team at the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Cafe at Elizabeth Town.

Key Responsibilities

Follow the leadership of our Head Chef in all back of house operations

Support the Head Chef through ideas and contributions to food menus

Prepare and plate in accordance with our evolving menu, consistently meeting high standards in quality and presentation

Compliance with daily food preparation schedules to ensure effective production

Daily set up and stocking of kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and supplies

Daily pack-down and clean-up of kitchen stations

Support the appropriate receiving, storage and rotation of food and ingredients

Correct best-practice usage of kitchen equipment

Support and comply with all aspects of OH&S compliance within the kitchen

Foster strong working relationships with front of house and back of house staff

Personal Attributes

Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen operation

Great organisation skills

High attention to detail and pride in work

Appropriate and professional presentation at all times

Great communication skills

Key Benefits

Great pay rates and working conditions, full-time equivalent hours available if desired

Casual position with flexible days and hours, working around four-week roster blocks

Daytime trading and work hours 7am–5pm, long shifts available, no split shifts

Transition to full-time permanent for the right candidate
