We're looking for a highly skilled Lead Removalist to join our small, boutique removal company. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes immense pride in their work and is committed to providing a premium service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring every job is completed to our exacting standards. This isn't just about moving boxes; it's about being the face of our company and delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and Coordinate Moves: Plan and execute removal jobs with a methodical and professional approach. You will be responsible for the entire process, from arrival to completion.

* Customer Communication: You will an extension of our brand and our company representative to our customers, it is imperative to ensure clear and friendly communication throughout the job. You will be a direct reflection of the standards that already exist so having a calm and confident demeanour is vital.

* Packing and Protection: Expertly wrap and protect furniture and fragile items before loading. Our standards are high, and attention to detail is crucial.

* Driving: Safely drive and operate a 4.5-tonne truck. This experience must be verifiable.

* Loading and Unloading: Efficiently pack and unpack the truck, maximising space and ensuring all items are secure for transit.

Skills and Experience Required

* Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in the removals business, specifically driving and managing a 4.5-tonne truck.

* Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead a team and build rapport with customers.

* Problem-Solving: The ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected situations.

* Leadership: A natural leader who can motivate and guide a team while also being able to take direction from management.

* Physical Strength: You must be physically strong and capable of carrying heavy and bulky items.

* Personal Attributes: We're looking for someone who is calm, friendly, kind, and methodical. You must be autonomous and take initiative.

* Professionalism: You need to be professionally presented with exceptional personal hygiene.
